@Abelia Guesthouse is looking forward to welcoming our regular and new guests back.

 

Although the world has literally changed shape overnight with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, you – our guest – remain our ‘Northstar’. We are mindful of the many challenges you currently face and are committed to your health & safety. We are prepared and waiting for when you are ready to travel again

 

In respect to official quarantine hotels, the City Lodge Hotel Group Guest Screening protocol is not required. The function of screening in these instances is the responsibility of the Department of Health. 

Every individual before even arriving at the hotel, either at the airport, harbor, or land border, completes a questionnaire, has their temperatures taken, and is being tested for Covid-19. This is for official quarantine hotels only.

 

Cleaning and disinfecting products have been sourced according to the “Emerging Viral Pathogens Guidelines for Antimicrobial Pesticides” in response to the Corona Virus outbreak.

The following disinfecting procedures are followed in our rooms:

 

BOOKING AND CHECKING IN PROCEDURE:

 

  • All bookings have to be made online.

  • Bookings have to be paid in full online before check-in.

  • All Payments and receipts will be finalized before check-in

  • Zero contact book in and out -On the day of check-in, you will receive a code to open safe at the front gate with your key in.

  • On Check out please drop the key in the same box.

 

 

SPECIAL RATES: 

 

Due to extra expenses and resting the rooms in between stays we can not provide special rates for less than two-night stays. 

We will provide a special rate for 3 nights or more stay.

Long term stay is also now available with month to month contract.

HOUSE RULES and CLEANING PROCEDURES:

  • Rooms are vacated by 09h00 to allow sufficient time for thorough cleaning and infection control measures.

  • Guests are required to change their own linen and will be requested to clean their own rooms daily. The hotel staff will clean and sanitize each room, every three days, excluding linen changes.

  • Where guests have checked out, departed rooms are cleaned and sanitized, and as far as is possible remain unoccupied for three days before the room is cleaned.

  • All linen and towels are washed at a very high temperature.

  • The staff wears protective clothing during cleaning and servicing.

  • Bathrooms and all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected with a 70% alcohol-based agent.

  • Rooms are well ventilated and remain vacant for 6 hours, allowing new guests to check-in from 16h00 OR 24 hours where possible.

  • Please wear a mask whenever speaking to one of the staff. 

  • Minimize direct contact with the guest with : 

  - Check-in and out self with Key lockbox.

  - Rooms only get served on request or every third day. 

  - Alcohol-based (70%) hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout each of the suites. Please be mindful and wipe spaces that might be infected. 

 

Food and Beverage: 

Only breakfast provided on request. Meals fully prepared and packaged night before in the fridge. Used crockery and cutlery are placed in the bucket provide and washed at the highest temperature as per FCS standard.
