Although the world has literally changed shape overnight with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, you – our guest – remain our ‘Northstar’. We are mindful of the many challenges you currently face and are committed to your health & safety. We are prepared and waiting for when you are ready to travel again
During the lockdown, we tried to register as an Essential Service Provider and as essential worker accommodation but were unsuccessful due to the fact that we can't meet basic criteria like operating for more than a year and other factors like not being BEE and other registrations in place.
Once the ban is lifted we will enforce the following regarding Hygiene and safety.
Cleaning and disinfecting products have been sourced according to the “Emerging Viral Pathogens Guidelines for Antimicrobial Pesticides” in response to the Corona Virus outbreak.
The following disinfecting procedures are followed in our rooms:
Rooms are vacated by 09h00 to allow sufficient time for thorough cleaning and infection control measures.
All linen and towels are washed at a very high temperature.
The staff wears protective clothing during cleaning and servicing.
Bathrooms and all surfaces are cleaned and disinfected with a 70% alcohol-based agent.
Rooms are well ventilated and remain vacant for 6 hours, allowing new guests to check-in from 16h00.
Minimize direct contact with the guest :
- Check-in and out self with Key lockbox.
- All Payments and receipts will be finalized before check-in
- Rooms only get served on request or every second day.
- Alcohol-based (70%) hand sanitizer will be readily available throughout each of the suites. Please be mindful and wipe spaces that might be infected.
